Villa as a place overall is super, beautiful pool and pretty well maintained room. Location is good, near to several Vineyards. Hotel had some dinner events such as wine paring and Tuscan long table dinners which were splendid. Bravo to Matteo and team for the elaborated and detailed attention to the wine pairing night. Notice though that little attention was given by the rest of the staff from the start to end. We had to wait for 20 minutes before anyone appeared in the reception area. When asked for some recommendations of vineyards around the area, they were not helpful at all (guess of course they are keen on promoting their own wines only). We had 5 days and 4 nights there and only managed to have one day when the room was cleaned (it had been pretty dusty with stone paths after some runs and walks a few afternoons). I had asked for pool towel to be changed on the 4th day and had to wait for 30 minutes before being told that it’s okay to change pool towel (they only change every 3 days). In my opinion, I do not think that the staff in the hotel enjoy working there, every morning at the reception and at the breakfast area the staff all looked tired and unmotivated, it wasn’t a pleasant place to be especially facing the same unmotivated staff everyday. Breakfast is the same for the 5 days we were there; I.e no creativity at all to change anything on the menu (even some changes to how eggs are cooked or what types of fruits were offered will be great). So apart from the amazing views that lightened up the whole place, everything else was in memorable with inattentive staff. It’s a 4 star hotel physically while everything else isn’t pleasant at all, won’t recommend this place for the price that’s to be paid.

A very nice hotel with nice hotel rooms. Started in the Villa (outside the hotel gate), which was no fun. The first night we could not have dinner in the restaurant as the hotel was hosting a wedding. This topped with being sent to the farm at outdoor benches for breakfast. That’s not the way to handle hotel guests. After some talks we were moved to a deluxe suite which was really nice.
